Synopsis
To understand the history of the Marist missions is to better understand the history of New Caledonia. Indeed, the Marists arrived in the territory before France settled in New Caledonia. It’s at the crossroads of the history of the missions and the history of New Caledonia that a dozen young people from the Lycée Lapérouse will set out to question it, to reconstruct it in the manner of the Lumière brothers’ cinema, under the guidance of those who can provide answers to their questions.
