Synopsis

At the time of pioneers and great discoveries, news items are multiplying in the penal colony of New Caledonia. The prison administration regularly deplores escapes; a young prospector paid the price by crossing the path of two fleeing convicts. Outside the walls of the colony, New Caledonia is a wild and sometimes hostile land.
