Synopsis
“Apnée, l’other monde” explores the relationships between apnea, men, space and time… another world.This documentary takes us to New Caledonia, to the largest lagoon in the world, to discover this discipline through the history of 4 characters. Pierre, the medalist of the discipline, shares his techniques and his encounters with the Manta rays. Anne-Sophie is practical in fresh water and seawater. She has made this passion a profession. Ingrid, she, hunting in apnea the big offshore fish. Alphonse explains the relationship between Kanak culture and sea and apnea.
