Synopsis
The poignant story of three Paris Commune deportees in New Caledonia. On the evening of Bloody Week, May 28, 1871, the Paris Commune came to an end, with the Parisian revolt defeated in a ferocious crackdown. The combatants who were not killed in action, or shot following summary trials, were deported to the penal colony of New Caledonia. This is the story their descendants are telling today.
