Synopsis
At every rugby match against New Zealand, it’s a ritual. Moments before kick-off, silence falls. Then a roar rings out. KA MATE, KA MATE. A shiver runs through the spectators; they’ve come for this too, to experience the Haka. For the All Blacks and the New Zealanders, it’s an hymn to the conflict between life and death. It’s a metaphor for the struggle of existence. And that’s what we’re going to find out.
