Synopsis

October 4, 2020: a referendum is held 30 years after the Matignon Accords.
The film tells the story of a major episode in New Caledonia’s institutional life through the daily lives of two loyalists: Sonia Backès and Philippe Gomès and two independentists: Rock Wamytan and Charles Washetine, before, during and after the vote that saw the No vote narrowly win.
