Synopsis
Le corps de la ville à Nouméa is a documentary stroll through New Caledonia’s natural landscapes and architectural heritage. Eight Caledonian choreographers and dancers will take over eight emblematic spaces on the island and put them into dialogue with their bodies. Classical, contemporary, hip-hop and traditional Kanak dancers will tell the story of their intimate connection with places such as the cells of the Nouville penal colony, the red banks of the Yaté artificial lake, the Château Hagen mansion and the Pierre Lanquette housing estate.
