Synopsis
The endless trail: Timek has gone to help the village men cut a new path through the forest. During his nap, he discovers a strange elf who immediately starts running off into the distance in pursuit of a rat that never stops.
The rock’s sleep: terrifying noises shake all the vegetation on the seashore. It’s a huge boulder on its way to an old pandanus tree that feeds it every time it visits. But the boulder, which always arrives empty-handed, makes promises it never keeps.
The Song of the Banana Trees : Timek finds himself immersed in the janitors of a banana field. An ant, a rat and a lizard try to solve the mystery of the stolen bananas. The ant and the rat try to fight by force of arms. The little lizard uses diplomacy to solve the problem.
The empty shell: The story of a crying shell. Timek discovers that a witch is turning hermit crabs into little human beings. To save the unfortunates, Timek must understand the origin of this curious spell.
